Yesterday and the day before were awesome. On Monday, I went with Trent up to the Willard to meet Lauren after work and we sat around shooting the shit and having a few drinks, which was very cool. The Willard is one of the neatest bars I have ever been to. Its very.... chill. The bartender, who's name I don't know, was right on with the drinks. I ordered a frozen buttery nipple for my last drink and I think it might have been the best drink I have ever had in my life. Seriously. It tops the fuzzy blue Drink that Rick makes, and that's fucking hard to do.
We then went back to Trent's house, and drank a little more, had a few shots, listened to music and had a really fun night. The next morning, we went gallavanting around Indiana. Hahaha. We headed over to Wally's house for a few and then they took me to a really ritzy-ass neighborhood where we hiked down (and UNFORTUNATELY back UP) the biggest damn dam I have ever been to. But, it was also home to what I think I was told was the second largest waterfall in the state. That would have been much more awesome if there'd been water on it at the time. We were all a bit grumbly about that. We trudged back up that damn dam and sat by the lake for a bit with our feets in the water, which was really nice. It was so hot out. Lauren gave in eventually and jumped in. LOL. Awesome.
Then, we decided to go down to Sigrid's house and swim in the pond, whic I thought was fun. I think they had a lovely time as well. The water was nice and warm on top, but when you jump in, you stir it all up and get downright FRIGID spots. Its odd. And the pond is full of blugill, which I'm sure most ponds are. These just happen to think that people are food. Lauren and I were damn near eaten alive by them. It was good times. Her and I killed a 5th of banana rum out there. Trent had regular rum rum.
Then we went and hung out with Sigrid for a bit. She gave me a box of Dad's stuff to go through. -Sad.-
We topped off the day by going to the bar. We were all mostly dead by then, with the very lively exception of Lauren, who was about as hyper as one can possibly be without crawling out of her own skin. Hahaha.
All and all, it was good times. The only complaint I have is that I was hoping to hang out with Rick at some point during my break from work and I didn't get to. Boo to that.
Then I came home and DIED. I cleaned up the house a bit, did my chores, and layed down. And now, it's 1:30 the next afternoon. Ah, time flies.
