Brian's Natural Habitat is a Dancefloor. (June 3, 2007)

Current mood:geeky
Last night was fantastic. All I did all day was lay about in bed and read. Then, Keri and I went and got us some foods, which was awesome, since we were both starving. We et us some DQ. And then I came back here and finnished getting dolled up and Brian and I went to a club up in Indy.
It totally wasn't my scene at all, what with me not being much into techno music or clubs or people.... lol. You get it. But I had a REALLY good time! We kinda scoped the place out a bit at first, then I went to the bar, because well, I drink... I ordered a rum runner, and OMG, they didn't skimp on the rum, either. And it was enormous. Hahaha.
So anyway, we mill about and chat with some peoples and mill about some more. I think there might have been a tiny bit of dancing in there somewhere.... And then at one point, we're sitting there and I see this girl walk by and I told Brian, "Hey, I think that's my friend Cody from a long time ago..." I ended up letting the curiousity win me over and I walked up to her and sure enough, it WAS! I sat there and talked to her for a minute and it was cool! I got to listen to her spin later, too. And there were all these lights and things and I really expected more glow sticks than were actually there.
Anyway, a few drinks into the night and I got less paranoid about looking like a jack-ass out on the dance floor and so actually did some dancing. I don't dance, people. I really really don't. LMFAO. But at any rate, I did. And there was even one time that I dragged Brian out there. (I NEVER instigate dancing. EVER.) Well, we were sitting up on the like, balcony/ platform thingy watching everything, and its like, I would be perfectly happy doing just that, but like, he likes to dance WAY more than I do, but he'll like, sit there with me if I'm not dancing. I dunno, it just seems to me like he'd be having a much better time if he were dancing, so I dragged his ass back out on the dance floor. It was pretty funny. I don't do that sort of thing.
And, lessee... Then he took me out to eat at Steak N Shake, where I got a frisco. MMMmmMMMmmmm....
Then, we came back to my place and ended up dancing to music in the parking lot a little. LOL. I'm such a dork. It was really fun though. We sat around and talked and had a really fantastic time. Yay!
(One of the funnier parts was that I had to keep bumming cigarettes off him. I had no pockets, so he was holding what little crap I brought with me. Bumming your own cigs is pretty funny after some rum. )
