Yay, I have internets again!! So in addition to all the fucking issues that my screen is causing for me, last night when I got home there was no internet to be had. The net I'd been leeching had either added a password or done SOMETHING because SBC wasn't letting me on there. I found a new one today, but not until just a few minutes ago. :(
Last night was pretty neat. Brian took me to Axis of Evil in Bloomington. I'm not into that kind of music, so I wasn't shocked to not really hear anything I would have liked, but I guess the music that night was pretty bad. Towards the end there, the tunes got marginally better, but.... yeah.
There was a chick there that made like, her whole outfit and she had THE fucking coolest boots ever. They laced up the front and were high heeled, but like, the back, all the way up to her knees, was open and just straps. METAL straps, too. Hell, a good chunk of her outfit was metal. And she had pretty purple hair. :)
And this other chick there had like, an orange and blue mohawk and was barely wearing anything at all. But her outfit was all post-apocalypse and she reminded me of tank girl. :)
It was really neat. And at one point, I went outside to smoke a cigarette, right? And Brian and I are talking and I happen to look up the street and who should I fucking see walking up but Big Nick! I flipped right the hell out! I was so happy! And he chattered with me for a few and went inside and.... I dunno.... it was just SO cool to see someone that I know there that I was just extatic for a bit.
Also, we saw Austin Clerkin and his G/F there. I grumped at him for snubbing me. It was funny. Brian's friend Caroline was there, too. And Kristen. I'd met Caroline before. She's really nice. Kristen was new to me, but she was really nice too. She seemed very.... aloof all night. Ah, well. She was nice and we talked some and had a good time.
When the club closed we went to...... THE VID! Yay! I've been there now! Too bad I couldn't have gone when it was all awesome, huh? Eh, it wasn't horrible, but it wasn't something to write home about. I got Pineapple Upside-down Cakes there. I was surprised they knew how to make them. Admittedly they put too much pineapple in them, but all things considered, they were DELICIOUS!
So yeah. I totally had a good time. Apparently, I have to go to Mutiny! on Wednesday sometime. They play Labyrinth songs sometimes. :D WOOT! (Hell, I got all buggered up and thought I was going to Mutiny! LAST night, so.... :P)
Well, thats about all thats going on in my life right now. I'm going to a wrestling show (.....??) out at the fairgrounds tonight and then to Caddies afterwards, apparently... And actually, I just looked at the time and I might not make it to the wrastlin' bit.... Ugh.
I was also hoping to get ahold of (insert name of bartender here) today and see what HE was doing this weekend, but oh well, huh?
